Road plates are the perfect solution for road construction and other applications where holes or trenches need to be covered for vehicle traffic.

Our road plates are made from high grade 350 steel for extra strength. - 2400 x 1200 x 25mm.

Moving road plates around is always difficult with health and safety risks. We fit our road plates with ranger lifting plates which are can be used with a lifting hook in the centre.

Ranger lock and lift hook

01.How big are the road plates?

Our plates are 2400mm x 1200mm x 25mm. Same width and length as a sheet of plywood.

02.How much do the road plates weigh each?

The plates weigh 565kg each.

03.What is your minimum hire period?

There is no minimum hire period, however there is a minimum one week charge. IE. The plate can be collected and returned on the same day, but a minimum one week will be charged for.

04.How does the ranger lifting hook work?

The lifting hook simple opens up and is fitted into the lifting plate in the centre of the road plate, the hook is closed back up and a lifting strap fitted through the lifting eye. As the hook lifts the plate in the centre its well balanced and easy to move around.

05.What about transport?

If there is a suitable excavator or forklift on site we can deliver with a flat deck at a very good rate, alternatively we can organise a hiab to bring the plates to site.
